Return to Base: Vet +1 Weekend

We are grateful to host this event with our partners at Big Fish Foundation. 

Patrol Base Abbate welcomes any veteran, active duty, reserve or guard service members to its Return To Base programming for the 2026 season.

This program is open to any Patrol Base Abbate or Big Fish Foundation member and their spouse. It will feature workshops, a service project, and fireside chats. Of note, sleeping accommodations are in our bunkhouses on cots. Please submit the application below if interested in attending.

In keeping with PB Abbate's mission to make these events accessible to all who have served, and are currently serving, there is no cost to the veteran/spouse to attend - to include airfare, lodging, and food.

Who: Any PB Abbate or Big Fish Foundation member and their spouse

What: A gathering of members with a desire to build comradery and strengthen their relationship

When: 30 July - 2 August

Where: Thompson Falls, Montana

Why: To provide warriors a space to recalibrate inside the wire and community to thrive outside the wire
